Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

 

Oh god. So I’m going through these because the ones Brynee posted were hilarious, and this one made me think of something. I used to date this guy, and we were on a school trip to Boston for a weekend and one of our stops was some amusement park. They sold all these stuffed animals and whatnot, so he bought me one without my knowledge to surprise me with it. It was a teddy bear with a little superman t-shirt and a cape. It was cute. So our huge group goes out to dinner, and later on, we’re outside and he gives it to me. And he says: “Hey, I just wanted to tell you that I really love you and you mean the world to me. And here, this is for you. I hope when you see it you think of me, because I just really want to be your Superman.” And then, because it all sounded like a scene from one of those crappy romantic comedies, I laughed in his face. Like a total bitch. Dammit.

Oh god. I just really want to be like fashionable and pretty. And maybe work the red lipstick. But like, all the time. Because I really do love fashion and vintage fashion, but no one would ever know from the way I dress because I’m just SO LAZY. And my body shape is so unhelpful, because when I find pretty things, they don’t fit or don’t look the way I want them to and I get frustrated and throw on sweats and a hoodie. And I needed to say this somewhere, so I guess it’s just gonna go here.
